CHALLENGE
Pseudonymously known across the internet as "mec dot", I secured the perfect url to launch my product focused pivot with in mec.dev, so it was imperative to design a brand identity that did the brand name justice.
OUTCOME
Inspired by photographs taken of me as part of a 2022 interview, the color palette which incorporates a spectrum of deep purples and light lavenders is complimented by an electric blue and green to convey the trustworthiness and stability I aim to exhibit in my graceful approach to creativity and innovation.
The logomark itself is simultaneously
• A monogram
• A slick play on the name "mec dot" always written as "mec."
• Visually informed by the "double escape" syntax of JavaScript,
whereby .\\\ = null
